"Soaring to Build A Stronger Smith Together"

G.N. Smith Elementary is one of 38 elementary schools in the Jackson Public School District. It serves students in grades Pre-K - 5.

We, the administrators, teachers, and parents of Smith Elementary, will do everything in our power to ensure that our boys and girls are taught to think, read, and write at high levels of rigor. These life-long learners will be enriched through the use of a well-integrated technology program and other scientifically research strategies.  Given the JPS theme, "Building Stronger Schools Together," we will serve as role models, guiding and directing our children in character building skills that will enable them to be responsible citizens in a highly technical world.

We are E.A.G.L.E.S – Eagles Achieving Greatness through Life – Long Learning by Exhibiting Success!!!
